Thanks for your help. Thanks also for your e-books, very helpful.

One more question : do you have any ideas how to import reference data (scripts and templates) via a JScript script or a C# Add-In ?

I currently encounter a bug (as admitted by the EA support) :
  • fragment templates using script
  • templates and scripts are embedded in a MDG technology
  • after deployment of the technology, the link between the fragment templates and the script is lost due to the fact that the script groups are not included in MDG technologies, as a result any scripts included lose their special types.

Best regards

Hello,

Where are stored the Document generation templates created by the user and also those that are imported via MDG Technologies ?

Thanks in advance,
Albert

Hello Geert,

Any news about this problem ? Is it solved in .13 ?

Best regards,
Albert

Thanks Geert for your reply,

It is indeed the case, I need linked docs and child elements. I will then use the script solution.

Best regards,

Albert

Hello,

Is there a way via doc generation template only (no scripts) to get the External requirements of an element in the output document sorted by alias ?

Thanks in advance

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: Hybrid Scripting
« on: November 09, 2016, 08:06:52 am »
Hello Helmut,

No, that's my problem.

I write also an hybrid script in C#, I was able to run it from the VEA but now I want to retrieve this script in any of the context menu and, for the moment, I did not find any solution.

Best regards,

Albert

Hello,

The idea is simply to be able to associate a hybrid script with a usual script group, in order to run the hybrid script by using the 'project browser' or 'diagram' context menu.

Best regards,
Albert

Dear All,

Any ideas, how should it be possible to include Hybrid Script in 'usual' script group ?

Thanks in advance

General Board / Seems Hyperlink From Linked Document  not working
« on: October 27, 2008, 11:29:51 pm »
It seems Hyperlink From Linked Document is not working.

From the RTF editor, in a specific linked document, you create a link to an element in the project browser, it works.

After closing and reopening the linked document, the link is not working anymore, I mean the linked element is not highlighted in the project browser.

Any idea ?

Thx

General Board / RTF Template editor working slowly

Any idea why the RTF editor is working so slow ? (when you move with arrows, right-click, also when the rtf editor window is open, the system view is opening so slow)

We are using EA last build on XP.

Thx

General Board / Re: Options for master doc propagated to model doc

Thanks a lot for you replies :

  • hide anonymous has to be specified in the template itself
  • codepage is also applied for the model documents of the master document
