Suggestions and Requests / Re: Web-Interface for Keystore Server
« on: February 01, 2017, 02:17:05 am »
I do not want to hijack this thread but I agree.  We need an interface to see who exactly has the licenses and be able to drop them on the fly.  Presently there is no way to say for a particular person, how long they had the key.  If we know they had it for days, it would be nice to kick them out so others can obtain a license.

Maybe when dropped the EAP and all local changes saved upon the drop?

General Board / Import Package at specific SVN revision
« on: June 30, 2016, 04:06:02 am »
Within EA we can Package Control -> File History and then select an older version of the file and hit Retrieve.

How can I do this via jscript?

Lets assume the following: I have the SVN revision I want to look at(not modify).  What is the jscript command to load that revision so I can view the diagram contents?
Option 1:
I can from jscript -> activex revert the file to the Revision I want BUT I do not know how to tell EA to refresh it without getting the latest version.

Option 2:
??
Thanks,
Zak

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the hover comment over a script when it is invoked from the Project Explorer->Scripts->Jscript_File_Name ?

Presently it displays whatever the name of the jscript is.  Is there a special layout comment header where EA will change the notes to be something else?

i.e.
If my mouse is hovering over "Find in all Diagrams..." The popup/hover says:
"Find in all diagrams... Ctrl+U
   Find all diagrams in which the current
   element is used."

Can this be changed for our jscripts to display something other than our jscript name?

Thanks,
Zak

Suggestions and Requests / Re: GetTreeSelectedPackages()
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:34:20 am »
I am sorry, I need to be more clear.  I am not using Repository.GetTreeSelectedElements().  This function returns NULL.  I am requesting a brand new function which will return Packages.

In the Project Browser:
Select 3 packages at the same level. (ONLY PACKAGES)

I want these packages to be returned in the API.

Repository.GetTreeSelectedElements()  == Null.

Or, How can I figure out which Packages are selected.  There are zero elements selected.

I am using EA 10.

Thanks,
Zak

I am requesting:
Repository.GetTreeSelectedPackages()

This presently does not exist.  If I select 4 Packages, not elements, in the Project Browser, I want to retrieve a Collection containing only those packages.

Or give me some Jscript way to get the selected Packages from the Project Browser.

Suggestions and Requests / GetTreeSelectedPackages()

There is a GetTreeSelectedElements().
How about throwing in a GetTreeSelectedPackages() from the Repository class.

Is there any word on whether this is going to occur?
