Hello Sorry For the delayed reply.

Yes you can do it select a class -> Right- Click on Context Menu -> Features and Propertes -> Feature and Compartment Visiblity
In the Feature and Compartment Visiblity (Window) , you will see attribute visiblity
Check the check box near custom and click custom and pick which attribute you want to display.

The same can done in interface to hide/show attributes and operations.

Hope this helps.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Access imgL, imgT, imgR and imgB
« on: December 02, 2016, 04:05:12 pm »
Hello Team,

When I export a package as XMI

I see a tag

Code: [Select]
<UML:DiagramElement geometry="Left=49;Top=134;Right=94;Bottom=224;imgL=45;imgT=63;imgR=90;imgB=153;" subject="EAID_35B7E059_DD82_4d0a_B879_29FD9E0C9066" seqno="1" style="DUID=A6FA7E78;"/>
with in <UML:Diagram.element> where all the diagram objects are listed.

I wonder how do I get the imgL, imgT, imgR and imgB value using API?

DiagramObject.Left returns the value of Left=49. But I need is the image co-ordinates

http://sparxsystems.com/forums/smf/index.php/topic,4780.msg121955.html#msg121955  . I found this thread but it was discussed on 2013 any updates in EA 13 ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Refer to the link below

https://www.linkedin.com/grp/post/50758-6007750426785570816?trk=groups-post-b-title

"Sharing a simple Archi - EA converter that i put up for my personal use. The attachment can be downloaded from
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gud5gyglc4k68oo/AAAXCEwKB0AAQdml_2rzYY3Ta?dl=0

The folder contains the following
* sample model with Archi objects imported

* workbook which you can use to convert Archi export into EA elements

* profile (CSV Import profile) to allow importing the EA elements in to EA

1. A Readme file

PS - the Excel Importer in 'MS Office Integration of EA' now allows one to import connectors from the Excel workbooks. (http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/mdg/int/office/office-integration.html)"

Hi Marc,

You can check "%appdata%\Roaming\MDG Integration for Microsoft Office\Word\Sample Documents" folder in your local machine  drive for sample documents.

Hi PhilBennett1,

Try MDG Office Integration from Sparx Systems to import data from excel which will allow to import relationships and elements also set stereotypes to the elements

download MDG office integration from the below link: http://sparxsystems.com/products/mdg/int/office/office-integration.html

i hope this will simplify your task  :)

General Board / Re: Introducing EA Word Importer
« on: April 30, 2015, 06:49:52 pm »
Hi GuyM,

"With EA not open, when I open a Word doc, the EA nav panes flash up"
Does this happen just when you open a word doc or when u attempt to connect to a model?

May be unrelated, but the VISIO importer falls over (and leaves the diagram locked out in Edit) when importing a VISIO diagram which previously worked OK and which an EA colleague (who has not got the Trial Extension) can still import fine...however...I am now updated to EA v12...1213 and he is still on v12....1210 (so could this also be a factor?)

Please report this bug to Sparx support: support@sparxsystems.com, preferably with a sample drawing.

Thanks,
Nabil
