Suggestions and Requests / Re: DDL generation
« on: December 13, 2005, 09:55:19 pm »
>> Open Operation Properties (select the table and press F10). Highlight the FK operation and select the Extended Properties... button.

.. there is a dialog there containing Index properties - Unique, Clustered, Ascending, Descending. What do I have to do there to solve my problem?

Suggestions and Requests / DDL generation
« on: December 13, 2005, 03:18:56 am »
Hi all,

1) how to include the 'ON DELETE CASCADE' clause of foreign key definition into generated DDL script for MS SQL Server?

2) how to exlude the note text of an operation with stereotype <<trigger>>, to not appear in generated script?

Thanks,
Pavel

General Board / Re: Newly added connector appears in existing diag

I don't do drag classes onto sequence diagrams. I mostly donĘt use sequence diagrams at all in the domain model.
For example, I drag a connector between Project and Person classes. The connector appears in all existing class diagrams, which contain classes Project and Person. This behavior decreases clarity of other diagrams.

General Board / Newly added connector appears in existing diagrams
« on: January 22, 2015, 02:25:43 am »
If I add an association between classes to any diagram, then this association will appear in all the already existing diagrams, which include these classes. After adding of each association I have to select "Visibility / Hide Connector in Other Diagrams" from the context menu.
Can be the newly added connector between some elements set to not appear in other diagrams?

General Board / Drag-drop class - features visibility
« on: January 22, 2015, 02:24:27 am »
I use the class diagram to display one class or a few related classes. These main classes have associations to other classes from other packages. I want the main classes to have displayed its features (attributes, operations), while the associated ones to have displayed small empty rectangle without details, with class name only.
When I drag-drop a class onto a class diagram from the Project Browser, it appears with all its features. I have to select "Fetaure and Compartment Visibility ..." from the context menu, uncheck visibility of all features and then change the size of the shape, because it retains its original size.

Is it possible to set hidding details after the drag-drop of class?

General Board / Re: Abstract UseCase

OK, thank you.
It seems, that missing Detail settings in the Properties dialog is rather a fault than intention.

General Board / Abstract UseCase
« on: May 21, 2013, 04:13:56 pm »
Hi,

how do I mark an UseCase as abstract?
There is a Detail pane on the Properties dialog of Class element, and it contains the Abstract checkbox.
But the Properties dialog of UseCase element doesn't contain Detail pane, so there is no Abstract checkbox.
EA version 10.0.1007

Thanks

General Board / Element color in different diagrams
« on: December 06, 2007, 08:01:41 am »
Hello,

is it possible to set different colors in different diagrams for the same model element (e. g. class)? I have set some color (e. g. green) to an element in diagram A. When I place this element on another diagram B and change its color there, the color changes on the first diagram A too.

Hello,

is it possible to import a DDL script from text file (which has been created for example by some database exporting tool)?

Thanks
