Suggestions and Requests / EA 4.0 beta bug "Action pin" overlaps te
« on: February 22, 2004, 08:18:11 pm »
I've noticed that when an activity has an "action pin" located on the
top edge, it overlaps the activity text to some degree. It would be
nice to be able to use "top|center|bottom" justification to move
the text, or use "collision logic" to move the text down out of the
way.

I'm very impressed so far. Excellent work.  :)

General Board / Callbacks in sequence diagrams

Only slightly related to discussion

http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;action=display;num=1080579180

How can I show the following using EA, I think I've tried every combination on the sequence context menu
and nothing seems to work.

General Board / More association questions - static instances
« on: March 12, 2004, 07:22:27 pm »
Java Code

class Bar { ... }

class Foo {
 public static Bar aBar = new Bar();
  ...
}

If I model the above with the static Bar instance, aBar, as an attribute, then I can properly mark
the attribute as static. However if I model using an association

  [Foo ]-------->[Bar]

I can name the assocation, make it aggregate/composition, set its multiplicy! But I haven't
found any way to indicate that "aBar" is static. Anyone have any ideas.

Thanks, Jim

General Board / How to specify the database
« on: June 05, 2002, 10:58:51 am »
The user's manual (pp 324) shows a database entry on the Table > Table Detail tab.
I'm not seeing this entry on my Table Detail tab (build 493).

Is there somewhere else I should be setting the database?

Thanks in advance.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Automation Model as EA model??

The subject sort of says it. Is there a "Automation".eap model that
can be used as a starting point for automation development.
