Suggestions and Requests / Re: BUG: Soap / WSDL Headers
« on: April 06, 2010, 10:37:35 pm »
Did anyone ever get this to work? I too need to generate SOAP headers in a WSDL output file.

I'm using version 7.5.847, and the issue is still there. The SOAP headers are not generated even though I put the information in header space.

Suggestions and Requests / Re: BUG: Mult. stereotypes missing on DB
« on: October 18, 2006, 04:22:36 am »
I second Paolo's request, and would add that multiple stereotypes don't seem to work as expected on existing existing <<table>> elements.

If you assign a second stereotype to an existing table element on a diagram, the table does not receive the tagged values from the second stereotype; even after synchronizing in the Resource window.

IMHO, EA should allow existing tables to receive tagged values from multiple stereotypes.  The fact that it does not means that if you import a database schema from an ODBC data source, you have to manually create and assign new tagged values to the tables that are created.

General Board / How To Update Realizations
« on: July 02, 2010, 11:40:39 pm »
I have an interface that I've placed in a diagram, along with several classes that have a Realization link to the interface. If I add a new Attribute or Operation to the interface, how do I ensure that all classes that realize the interface pick up the new Attribute or Operation? Do I have to re-create the link between the class and the interface?

Thanks

General Board / Possible Bug: Table Class
« on: October 16, 2006, 04:35:40 pm »
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I thought I'd report it.

I defined a new custom profile with a stereotype that extends the Table metaclass.  When I place a Table element in a class diagram and assign its stereotype to the one that I created, none of the stereotype's tagged values show up.

Same goes for an enumeration element.

Uml Process / Extending Existing Stereotypes
« on: October 16, 2006, 02:09:36 pm »
There may be a very simple way to do this, but if so, I haven't found it.

I am defining a new custom UML profile to use in my model.  I want to have a custom stereotype that extends the existing "column" stereotype by adding a new tagged value called "InnerJoin".   I then want the standard "Table" element to use my new stereotype.

Can anyone advise me on how to go about doing this?

Thanks!
