Bugs and Issues / BPSim
« on: January 25, 2018, 09:26:21 am »
Hello

I am EA v 13 professional edition. I wanted to try out BPSim.  Downloaded the MDG file and started to follow the example on http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/13.0/model_simulation/setup_bpsim.html

However I am not seeing the BPSim Process Simulation artificat when I am in the BPMN Model.  What am I missing?

I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hello,

I generated documentation for my use cases as HTML.  However the font on the generated diagram is too small to read.  Also when I try to zoom into the diagram on IE or Chrome, the image quality becomes very difficult to read.   I have also tried creating a custom style but it didn't help.

General Board / Link extension points to use cases
« on: May 16, 2003, 07:12:01 am »
I have a use case which contains three extension points. It is very confusing to see these three extension points because they don't reflect the use cases to which they relate.

Is there a way to reflect this in EA?
Thanks

I would also be interested in this functionality. If anyone knows of how to achieve this please post this on the forum!

Thanks

General Board / Re: VB.NET code generation (namespaces)

I double checked this for Java and it seems that EA does generate the package statement for Java.

But I need it for VB.NET :<

General Board / VB.NET code generation (namespaces)
« on: October 24, 2002, 12:01:52 pm »
I am using the beta version that was recently posted on the EA website. I am trying to generate code from my classes. I thought the beta version takes care of Namespaces for VB.NET code. But when I generated code, there was not namespaces statement.

Further the beta version doesn't include the "inherit" statement for my classes that inherit from ancestor classes.

Has anyone seen the same bugs?

General Board / Namespaces code generation VB.NET
« on: October 10, 2002, 07:24:01 am »
Is there a way to generate namespace statements in code generation for VB.NET?

I've generated a whole bunch of classes but Namespace statements are missing from each class. I'd like each class to have a namespace statement at the top.

Is there a way that I can get this feature?

Thanks

General Board / Property checkbox for VB code generation
« on: October 10, 2002, 11:21:47 am »
I reversed engineered a class from VB.NET that only has member variables defined (no properties).  After reverse engineering, I opened up my class diagram and pulled up the property tab of the class.  I noticed that EA has the Property checkbox selected, even though the code doesn't have properties code.

Is this expected behavior or is this a bug?
Thanks

General Board / Re: Printing Class Diagrams
« on: September 16, 2002, 07:01:09 am »
I tried what you mentioned. It didn't work at all. The printing is pathetic.  First of all, EA sends out the printout as one page. Then it expects manual feed.  Thirdly it prints out in portrait mode despite the fact that I've set it up as landscape.

Can the developers of the software please help!

General Board / Printing Class Diagrams
« on: September 13, 2002, 01:50:31 pm »
I have a class diagrams that spans 3 pages.  I have not been able to create a successful printout of my class diagrams. I want to be able to print all 4 pages and them duct tape them together.  Just like other modeling packages do.  Is there anyway to print individual pages of the class diagrams?

Thanks

General Board / Constraints sections in RTF
« on: August 28, 2002, 12:48:34 pm »
This is more for the developers at EA.

When I generate Use Case document in RTF, there are two things that really confuse our business users.
1. The status of the precondition and postcondition print out for every constraint. e.g. Proposed Precondition etc.
Is there a way to turn this off so that only the constraint type prints out?

2. If I have multiple constraints e.g postcondition and precondition, I would the RTF to have a section called Preconditions or PostConditions and group these multiple post/pre conditions withing that group.  So the output in RTF should be:

PostConditions
1. ...
2...
3...

PreConditions
1.
2.
3.

How can I do this in EA?

Thanks

General Board / Re: Activity Diagrams and Code Generation
« on: August 28, 2002, 06:11:03 am »
I've done similar things before but I wanted to use detailed action semantics in my activity diagrams and hope to generate code that would relate to the action semantics.

Would still like to get more responses (specially from the developers of EA)

Thanks
