In the weekend, I'll start to write the third bonus chapter about how to make your own toolbox. Updates are free for who already bought the book, but the price will increase by $1 for new buyers.

Trick 10 has been added to the second bonus chapter (and price has increased with $1, as usual after a finished bonus chapter).

Next (and probably last) bonus chapter will be about developing your own toolbox.

Just added tip 3 in the second bonus chapter, about how to easily export all data from the elements of a diagram to a spreadsheet application.

http://bit.ly/EATricks

Price of the book remains unchanged until I reach trick 10. Updates stay free.

Second tip added to the second bonus chapter, about sorting lists with tagged values. Really useful if you have lots of elements in a model and you want to manage them efficiently.

Updates are still free for who already downloaded the book, but price will increase every now and then ("higher value, higher price"). http://bit.ly/EATricks

JosÚ, thanks for the offer! I already got some reader feedback and incorporated that into the book. It is not my intention to write a second book, instead I'll just update this one. Extra tips are welcome.

By the way, I just released a new version of the book with an additional chapter. The first tip explains how to efficiently add multiple elements with common properties. When this chapter is finished, the book price will increase again (but updates stay free, so be sure to grab your copy today).

@mrpmorris: you can consult a complete table of contents here: http://bit.ly/EATricks (there's a free to download sample chapter too).

I did not yet write about generating source code from EA, because I don't use EA for that. All the tricks I write about are from my own experience.

I am planning to write a separate chapter about how to develop your own toolbox in EA (which is an advanced subject).

Some of the tricks are really simple, but it's often the simple tricks that bring you lots of value. Of course, I steer away from really evident things like how to open the notes of an element.

Hope that helps.

P.
