You would need to create a shape script with
Code: [Select]
shape RelatedElement. See http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/12.1/building_models/add_custom_compartments_to_ele.html

This only works for stereotyped classes. And it needs quite some fiddling until you get that working (at least for me it always takes time to tweak my brain to get queer Sparxian thinking adapted to my way of understanding things).

I'm not sure how many users here are familiar with ArcGIS (I'm not). If you don't hear back anything here the next days you should contact Sparx support via mail.

Guillaume, this will not show the red exclamation mark. It will just disable the OK button in the properties.

it's extremely convenient to say the least.

Then why complaining?  ;D

How is it shown as locked? Have you turned on version control?

I'd agree. Many of those Enterprise Blurbs, Evangelists, etc. are just good in selling themselves.

You could make a dummy project with the missing externals as an exact copy of your original one and strip the info except for the name. Then you can export that to provide your 3rd party with a stub.

That's normal behavior. A package export contains only the element inside the package. External elements are referenced by their GUID. You need to either have them already in place or you need to import them with their according package.

It seems like when you specify Argument(s) in the message this will be displayed instead of the Parameters.

(Argh. Wrote a longer answer and when sending my internet broke down.)

First: I'm not entitled "Enterprise Architect" but my resume will likely allow me to do so. My background: worked in bits and pieces up to large development projects, quite some analysis projects, project leader and of course architectural projects, not few of them being a mix of all. Soft factors: develop a model and fight for it, make the right compromises, know your strengths and seek for help where you are weak, focus but don't loose the overview.

You're after Respository.CustomCommand. It might have some parameter, but I'm not aware of one for the RM.

Sounds like they moved from another DB to EAP.

Like there is no multiple inheritance. An amphibian does not inherit from fish and mammal. It's an own breed which shares a couple of properties with either of the latter.

Are you saying that non-selectable elements are not printed? That'd be another EA-awkwardness.

There are not that many SQL gurus here (I'd guess). And since you seek the difference only you can ask this well on SO (though they sometimes tend to bash certain questions). Just give it a try.
