General Board / Re: Lollipop vs. Interface

No, it's not brokeb. The lollilop is just a rendering for aa general interface. Which interface it is must be shown by drawing a <<realize>> relation to the respective interface class. I usually show that on a different diagram, e.g. an embedded diagram of the inteface class.

Yes. DOORS is not EA. But it's designed for handling requirements. And you can use either the DOORS MDG or a simple script (I preferred that) to get the requirements into EA.

Bugs and Issues / Re: v14 long lasting bugs

The activation code is shown on your registered user download side.

Regarding the bug fixing: it will never change. It's been a mystery ever since. I gave up with that (skiwi obviously too). Also I don't know why I paid the registration for the last two years. Versions got worse each time. Can I have my money back (just a rhetoric question)?

In my old days we used DOORS for that. I'd guess it's still used. And looks the same as in the 90's...

Suggestions and Requests / Re: Additional code libarires
« on: August 13, 2018, 07:19:16 pm »
AFAIK: No. You can do that externally. E.g. you can code an add-in where you use additional libs. See also Geert Bellekens' EA-Matic.

Bugs and Issues / Re: Model Search SQL - behaviour of the plus-character

I suspect that the RDBMS is responsible for that. It's probably some implementation detail that varies between EAP, MySQL, etc.

Well, yes. The context menu is controlled by your add-in. You put in menu entries. And the last, right afer a vertical line, would be the "About" entry. Simple as that. I do that with my add-ins too.

In the context like for all add-ins.

Definitely depends on your language which lib (DLL) to use. I made it with Perl and Python with no issues (for MySQL, but PostgreSql should be similar).

No, he's been teleported here from the future xD

Ah, sorry mate. Got it the wrong way. Probably something Geert can answer.

IIRC it's the Notes field you see in the MDG creation wizard.

Or you use the quick linker (the arrow appearing top right when hovering over an element).

I guess you'r out of luck. Unlike the API there's no (viable) way to look behind the curtain of shape scripts.
