Suggestions and Requests / Re: Structured scenarios in HTML report
« on: June 30, 2010, 03:58:01 pm »
It seems to be resolved in the current Build 858 as stated in the release notes:

Quote
HTML Reporting
Added support for documenting Structured Scenarios.
- New fields #STRUCTURED# and #EXCEPTIONS# added to 'Scenario Item' section.
- New sections 'Scenario Structured', 'Scenario Structured Item', 'Scenario Exception' and 'Scenario Exception Item'.
I have not tested it yet.

Suggestions and Requests / Structured scenarios in HTML report
« on: May 03, 2010, 10:04:32 pm »
Hi all,

I have just tested the EA 8.0 release and it seems that the structured scenario is not considered in the HTML report. Is this correct? If so, is there a possibility to customise this…or a workaround? As we work with both reports (RTF and HTML) to publish a documentation the output must be identical.

Is it intended to integrate the structured scenarios into the HTML report (in the near future) or do I have to submit a formal request?

Thanks
Su

General Board / Re: EA 9 Beta
« on: March 16, 2011, 09:25:21 pm »
Hi all

I've just tested the RTF reporting tool in the beta version and I have weird problem.
Some use cases are missing in the created RTF.

We use the master document/model document approach for the report generation. The project is stored as .eap file (using the jet database).
The used project was a productive .eap file  of version 8.0 Build 864.
  • All uses cases are shown in the project browser
  • It seems that the position in the project browser determines the uses cases that are not reported. Always the same positions are not reported.
  • I have changed the documentation option from order=tree order to order=name, this has no effect at all. The order in the RTF is still the tree order.
  • I have done an integrity check (and cleaned all occurred problems)
  • The HTML report contains all use cases – none is missing
  • I have checked if there are any filters in the documentation options (even if we never has used one) – no filter (neither in master nor in model document)
Any ideas for further investigation?? And has anybody else this problem or is it just me?

Bugs and Issues / Re: RTF documentation loses list formatting
« on: July 28, 2010, 11:27:40 pm »
I have seen your topic concering the checkbox "use style defined in templates".

We discovered today that this checkbox causes our problem with the list formatting.
I don't know if there is a changed behaviour as there was no problem with EA 7.5. Fact is, with this option off the list formatting in the generated RTF is OK.

We use the virtual documents for our RTF reports. We have a master document and several model documents.
The documentation definitions (master and model documents, styles, etc) were created in EA version 8.0 Build 858 and we work with a JET .eap file.

Unfortunately, I am currently to busy for further analysis but I will do further tests asap.

Bugs and Issues / RTF documentation loses list formatting
« on: June 29, 2010, 05:45:11 pm »
Hi all,

my RTF reports in version 8.0 Build 858 loses list formatting (ordered as well as unordered) of notes (at least), e.g. use case and package notes. Can somebody confirm this behaviour.
I don’t know if this applies to other Build version or other elements/fields.

With EA 7.5 Build 850 the RTF report works fine with list formatting.

Thanks

Have you tried the key combination Shift+F9.
I haven’t tried this in the current version of EA (once discovered in a 7.x version).
