No idea, sorry. I wouldn't expect any problems with this version of Windows. I'd suggest installing it anyway to give it a go. If you do encounter any problems, please contact support and we'll look into it.

We haven't performed any official testing on Windows Server 2016, but are not aware of any issues at this time.

Also just noticed a Compare Editions page has been added to our website for the different cloud server versions. This confirms that the License Server is only in the "premium" editions (Small Business or higher), not the Express edition.

No, as far as I'm aware the license server is only in the full versions of PCS. (i.e. Pro Cloud Server Small Business Edition or higher)

5
The Description field in the Manage Add-Ins dialog always just shows the name of the selected add-in. There is no way to add other text there as far as I'm aware.

The problem is that you have a Perspective applied, which was unfortunately hiding your custom MDG Technology from the Resources window. This is a known issue which we hope to correct in a future build.

Try clearing your current perspective (Click "Perspectives" in the top-right corner of the EA window, then select Manage > Show All Perspectives) and then reload your model.

The "UserTechnologySet.xml" file that you mentioned is where this setting is persisted, so deleting that file also clears the current perspective setting.

General Board / Re: Where is the EADict.zip now?

As you observed, the Registered Downloads page recently had a major update and unfortunately it looks like the link for downloading dictionaries has gone missing in the process. We are aware of this and hope to have it fixed soon.

In the meantime, please try downloading the file using the following direct link:

General Board / Re: UI Language Help

Unfortunately the French and English versions are completely separate installation packages. You can't just switch the language, you would need to re-install the appropriate EA version.

Both the English and French installers are available from the Registered User Downloads area:

Depends when your MDG Technology was built. As per the last line of my last post - "If your technology was built with an older version, you may need to re-build it using EA 13 or higher."

Using EA 13, build your MDG Technology file again. Hopefully this resolves the problem.

No way that I know of to access the clipboard from scripting languages. I think you'd need to write your program in a more full featured language such as C#.

This sounds like something that was fixed in EA 13. Can you confirm which specific build you are running? (See Help > About EA)

From the EA 13 release notes:
  MDG Technology Creation Wizard now preserves links between exported Scripts and Template Documents

When exporting the MDG technology with EA 13, the script GUID should be included as part of the export. When loading the MDG Technology, EA will use the supplied GUID (if available) to identify the script, so the template should now be able to reference it correctly.

If your technology was built with an older version, you may need to re-build it using EA 13 or higher.

Was this a completely new installation, or were you upgrading from an older version? Did you copy the latest version of the WebEA files from your installation directory into your web server? E.g. like step 9 on the following page:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/14.0/model_repository/webea_website.html

(I'm not personally familiar with any specific steps required to upgrade an existing WebEA installation, but just hoping to point in the right direction.)

What version does your Pro Cloud Server installation report itself as?

General Board / Re: WebEA with „Accept Windows Authentication”
« on: June 08, 2018, 10:25:56 am »
Hi Peter,

WebEA does not support any integration with Active Directory.

For WebEA access (assuming your model has security enabled) you have two configuration options.

a)
login_prompt = "true"

In which case users will need to enter a user ID and password as assigned in EA. Note, if you have been using the Windows Authentication option in EA then you may need to manually assign passwords to these users in EA (if you have not already).

b)
login_prompt = "false"
sscs_model_user = "<user id>"
sscs_model_pwd = "<password>"

In which case users will be automatically logged in as the specified user.

This is a fairly new feature to WebEA / Pro Cloud, released around the same time as EA 14. See release notes for Version 2.1 Build 18:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/procloud/history.html

Do you know what version you are currently using?

In WebEA, click the small "A" icon in the bottom right corner. At the moment in our sandbox it reports "WebEA v1.50.1650". Compare this to the version in your own installation.
