Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: Tagged values in reports
« on: September 15, 2009, 10:59:58 am »
Please try to use the 'ValueOf' item. You can specify the target Tagged Value when using this item.

302
Try the latest build, maybe it will solve this issue.

Hope this helps.

303
For your information, you can get (and maybe update) the value by:

Connector.Properties.Item("IsReturn")

Hope this helps,

304
You need to call File.Update() method.

For example,

file = element.Files.AddNew(strURL, "Web Address");
file.Update();

Hope this helps.

Hi cerevro,

If I remember correctly, all Express Editions do not support the Add-ins feature.

Hope this helps,

Maybe now it is not problem of RaQuest but of EA API.

If I understand correctly. Element.Elements collection
is children elements.

Hello Uwe Fechner,

User-defined values are stored as Tagged-Value of EA.
You can access them using COM-Interface.

(Please notice that some internal values are also stored
as Tagged-Values. Please do not modify these RaQuest internal values.)

Hello DrillSergeant,

When you import/export your requirements between EAP files,
information of user defined attributes are not copied.

But all the user defined attributes are not deleted. Just
you can't see them on new EAP file.

Easiest way to show again is that you define the same
user defined attributes again on new EAP file.

Hope this helps.

Hello Olli,

Regarding output to RTF of requirement comments you said,
you need to mark it 'public'.

And then, check Issue under the Element of RTF template editor and
select Notes by right click. The tag {ElemIssue.Notes} is put in and the
comment is entered there.

This operation is described in [Relationship between RaQuest Objects and
Enterprise Architect Objects] of help.

Hope this helps.

Information about Add-ins are stored in HKCU registry.
So, you need to copy registry key of installed user to all other users.

Whole path is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EAAddIns\BPMN

Hope this helps.

Hi patriciorocca,

Our RaQuest support team has confirmed that we
can reproduce problem which you said.

But as I said before, currently we can't assure that RaQuest
works fine on Linux. Now there is automation error
while creating EA object.

Hi patriciorocca,

I forwarded your post to RaQuest support team, but
as far as I know, we (SparxSystems Japan) don't
assure that RaQuest works fine on Linux (wine).

Hello Jim,

As you said, now it's impossible to download it. After then,
I made it to MDG Technology file to support Ruby file
extension (.rb) but I haven't upload the new file.

Currently I have no plan to upload it to public area,
but I'm sure you will receive good news from Sparx
development team in the future.
