##### Alignment functions for Arcs
« on: May 16, 2017, 05:14:17 pm »
We have alignment functions for vertices (shapes), it would be really cool to have alignment functions for arcs.

Unfortunately, this would require multi-selection for arcs (which may not even be on the horizon).

If there's support for it, I can put in a formal feature request.

Usually when I align elements centered EA will also put the connectors in the right place. Worked for me.

Indeed, q, USUALLY... However, if the elements aren't centred or it's one of the non-usual cases...

Also, I'd hope to be able to align two arcs without an intervening common vertex.

Once we have multi-arc selection it would be a breeze to make an add-in for that. So...

That's why I mentioned it.

It's just occurred to me that I'm probably talking about arc end-point alignment - the arc (line) style should take care of the rest.

Also alignment of labels where they are separate from the shape

+1 to alignment of labels (if selected)
