Enterprise Architect Corporate Edition Academic - US$119 (SKU EACORPEDU)
Includes all the features of the Desktop and Professional versions, with the added ability to use SQL Server or MySQL as the model repository, and to set up and administer user security for a model. This edition is for larger teams that require fine control over who can edit what elements in a model.

Enterprise Architect Corporate Floating Edition Academic - US$168 (SKU EACORPEDUFLOAT)

Ordering and Payment Options
To purchase an academic license please fill in our Academic Status Approval form, and on approval we will email you instructions on how to purchase EA at academic rates.

When you have paid the registration fee, you will be sent an email containing a registration key and the address of where to download the full version of EA. The download file is the same for the Professional and Desktop versions, the registration key determines which features are enabled.

Who is entitled to purchase the academic version of Enterprise Architect?
Any student, lecturer, teacher or trainer who plans to use EA purely as a learning tool is entitled to purchase the academic version of EA.

How do I prove my academic status?
Normally Sparx Systems will receive some documentation (copy of) that proves the individual's academic status. In the case of a student or lecturer a scanned copy of their student/staff ID (sent via email) is usually the easiest proof. However in some cases the individual may not have a photo ID, in this case Sparx Systems would then require a copy of a current enrolment letter stating that the individual is currently enrolled. Or in the case of lecturer/teacher, if their institution's website lists the individual and their role, then this is sufficient proof. Failing the above items of proof, Sparx Systems is willing to consider any form of documentation that states that the person is an academic.

The most efficient way to prove your academic status is to fill in our Academic Status Approval form.

What is the purchase process for the academic version of Enterprise Architect?

1. Sparx Systems receives proof of academic status
2. Upon confirmation of this proof, the user will be issued the academic purchase link
3. User purchases EA via the online e-commerce system
4. Registration details are then sent out to the user automatically once their transaction has been approved
5. The user then downloads and installs EA using the details supplied in the registration email
