The discipline of Enterprise Architecture dates back to the mid-eighties when John Zachman recognized the need to manage the complexity of distributed technology systems. Enterprise Architecture has since emerged as one of the most important disciplines in the business and information technology professions and has become increasingly relevant in an era dominated by digital disruption.
