License Screen

The 'License' screen displays whenever you click on the Licensing button on the Main screen.  It allows the user to quickly and easily see what Pro Cloud Server licenses have been defined, and the complete details of each license.

Note: The 'License' screen is only available in the Pro Cloud Server and Pro Cloud Server Express builds of the Sparx Systems Cloud Server.

On a new installation, when the 'License' screen is first shown it should look resemble this:

However, over time as your Pro Cloud Licenses expire you will be able to see a complete history of all licenses:

If there are multiple licenses defined, the Pro Cloud Server will determine the 'best' one, or the one with the latest expiry date when licenses are for the same Product.  Any license shown with 'True' in the 'Active' column is a license currently being used.  In the example, none of the licenses are shown as 'Active' since they have all expired.

Add a new License

Click on the Add.. button and you will be prompted for the complete license key (including the { and }),

Enter the License key provided and click OK.  If the entered value is a valid Pro Cloud Server license for the current edition then the License is added to the list of allocated licenses.

Note:  After adding a License to the Pro Cloud Server the Cloud Service should be manually restarted in order for all components to detect the change in license details and potentially start additional components enabled by the new license.

Remove a License

At any time it is possible to remove an existing license simply by selecting the license in the list and pressing the Remove button. The list of allocated licenses will be refreshed accordingly.

Note:  After removing a License from the Pro Cloud Server the Cloud Service should be manually restarted in order for all components to detect the change in license details and potentially start/stop components enabled or disabled by the removal of the license.
