Configure Worker
The Worker Configuration screen is shown when you click on the Configure Database Manager' screen. It allows you to easily modify the various options for running a worker instance of Enterprise Architect against the selected database manager.
on the 'In order for Web-based tools like WebEA and Prolaborate to view Enterprise Architect diagrams and linked documents, static representations must be generated and stored within the repository whenever a diagram or linked document is updated. The Pro Cloud Server includes a specialized version of Enterprise Architect called the 'EAWorker' that can generate the required information on a regular basis.

Description |

Port |
Select the desired Port that the EAWorker should use to connect to this repository. This dropdown will only list the ports that are defined within the Pro Cloud Server. |
Model User |
Enter a valid repository user. This value only requires a value if the current repository has model security enabled |
Model Password |
Enter the password for the repository user. This value only requires a value if the current repository has model security enabled |
Interval |
This value defines how often (in seconds) the EAWorker process will check for modified diagrams, and generate where required; the default value is 30 seconds |
Logging Level |
Select the desired level of logging that the EAWorker should produce. The available logging level options are the same as those for the Pro Cloud Server. The worker log files will be created within a 'Logs' folder under the worker's installation location, ie if PCS is installed into the default location this will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sparx Systems\Pro Cloud Server\Service\Worker\logs . |
