Maintenance Status Types
Model Maintenance items such as Changes, Issues, Defects and Tasks pass through a series of stages whereby each item is raised, assessed, approved, worked on, reviewed and completed. As an item passes through each stage, it can be assigned a Status from this system-provided list:
- Active
- Complete
- Deferred
- Merged
- New (the initial default status)
- No Action
- Paused
- Rejected
- Rework
- Verified
The Maintenance Status values are defined on the 'Maintenance Status' page of the 'General Types' dialog. You can add to or replace any of these values with your own custom values.

Move the selected type higher or lower in the 'Type' list. This defines the ordering used in the Maintenance 'Status' drop down combo boxes, and in sorting any report or list when the Maintenance Status Type is used as the sort-by property. For example: you have set up a number of Change items on a Package, and you run a report on the Change items; then you sort on the 'Status' column. The report entries are grouped by status, in the order you defined in the 'Type' list. |
