Title: Association between classes does not show
Post by: janab on April 11, 2012, 09:35:30 pm
Got an association between 2 classes that dissapears from the diagram. I go to relationships / show relation and it is on the diagram. Save, close diagram and open it again. The relationship is not showing. Go to Diagram / Advanced / Visible Relations and make sure it is marked. Shows again. Save, close diagram and open it again. The relationship is not showing. Where can I look, what do I set?

Oh my - another thing, tried to change the type - and it also leaves the diagram. Stays available to show, but I really can't get it to stay on that diagram.

We are working with the IEC CIM as base and added lots. I am just afraid that I know of this one relationship acting funny. what if there is more?

Your DB looks a bit corrupt. Try Tools/Data Management/Integrity check.

Ok - we do have Integrity issues. I really do not want to just say "Recover/Clean", but the report I get is not helpful. Just says "Invalid Connector - Aggregation - Delete Connector". how do I find out what connector this is?

Just let it repair. The messages are simply scrap. Always remember: this is EA!

It's probably a good idea to not do it during full load but to pause work while repairing. But repairing never did any harm to our models. Just run it every now and then (once a week). And ignore the messages. They are just confusing and in no way helpful.

Over the years - this has been a well founded trust!
