Title: Change filename or path of a VC controlled file

Hello,

if I try to change the filename in the configuration dialog EA asks me to disconnect from VC and after clicking ok VC asked me to reconnect from VC and and reconnect with the new file name.

Then:
Do you wish to disconnect Version Control?

After 'Yes' and configure VC again EA expects a new file which isn't under Version control.

So far so good: If I do so I loose the history of the version controlled element.

Well, there is a solution with SQL which I don't like.

Maybe you have a solution.

I guess you have to take the SQL way. EA is rather picky with changing VC settings and especially filenames.
