Title: HTML report & chrome

Hi,

I'm generating an HTML report 8.0.863, and it seems the report isn't viewable using Google's Chrome browser.

Is this a known issue? Is there a work-around?

There is a serious issue with Chrome's JScipt engine which stops EA's generated HTML from displaying correctly.

The HTML did work with Chrome, but from the 5 series it has been broken.

So,
1.  Use a non-broken browser IE6-9, FF 3.5, Opera.
2.  Use an old verion of Chrome, pre 5.

Remember, in this context "non-broken" means: able to render an EA generated HTML report.   (and nothing more)   :)

OK, I voted for this issue on the Chromium site.

PS is my logic correct: EA generated javascript AND IE6 = non broken !

PPS I note that the chromium report states bug is tested against IE7 and FF3.6, has it been tested against IE8 and IE 9 (which would seem more useful) and Opera and Safari?

EA HTML output should work with IE6, if you know of a case that it doesn't please report the issue.

As a Chrome user I wouldn't have a clue, IE6 should be retired (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2009/08/10/engineering-pov-ie6.aspx) by all organisations using it, its a security risk.

My question was, has EA checked against the current and next gen IE (i.e. 8 and 9), and other standards compliant browsers, eg Safari and Opera.

IE 6 End of Life will be when XP is no longer supported by MS.

We do check against IE 8/9, FF, Opera and Safari (to a lesser degree) on a regular basis.
