Title: Build 487
Post by: Steve_Straley on May 07, 2002, 10:55:47 am
Guys,

I just wanted to jump in and say "Great Job" on the HTML generation stuff.   The hyperlinks on even the diagrams is a great thing and well done.   I'm going to try to incorporate thie files (and folders as I found out) in our Intranet side and see how it ties in.

Also, I'm NOW going to go back through the past chapters and add some of the global switches and things as well as move forward with adding the USE CASE stuff.

And if I have time, I'll go back and see how I can incorporate some of the HTML stuff I generate (like alert pages) into the overall design of what you have done.

Again... thanks MUCH!!!

Steve

:D I agree the HTML reporting functionality is GREAT!

We are integrating it into our project web site to keep our clients informed and plan to use it for delivering system documentation on-line and via CD-ROM.

:)  I agree that Build 487 have a great feature on HTML.  I am waiting this feature for a few months.  I think it can solve my localization problem (Thai Language).  But, my problem is the font is very small since I use Thai font.  Could I set default font and size before generating documents? Or, does it have any workaround for my problem?

I tried HTML report, and I feel it very good.
I wish you add a function to change charset of HTML.Now charset is "iso-8859-1",so Japanese characters are all garbage... :-[

Hi guys,

Thanks for the support and feedback.

Over the next few weeks we will be adding some filtering and customisation capability to the web reporting - including the ability to modify HTML templates and CSS stylesheets.

We are happy to listen to suggestions and ideas, and will do what we can to accomodate different requirements, including modifying character sets, look and feel and content.

Cheers,
Geoff Sparks
