Title: Bugs??
Post by: J Mirabal on June 03, 2002, 03:01:43 pm
Are these bugs or just misinterpretation of features??

- Requirement Properties
. Add a new requirement to a diagram
 . Modify Requirement properties
. In the dialog box (modal window) to define properties, you will see a field called Difficulty (the choices are High, Medium and Low)
. Now, if you check the Requirement properties from the grid view that appears at the right (Properties Workspace) you wont see any field named Difficulty; instead you have a field called Complexity (the choices are Easy, Medium, Difficult)
. When you change the combo box values in one place and the other, there is no consistency in the values that you select from both places. Is there a relation between those two fields? If yes, why you see fields with different names?

- Auto counters
We have configured auto counters (Prefix, Counter, Suffix) for Requirement types. This works when you drag and drop requirements from the left located toolbox to the diagram. However, when you do the same action right clicking in the Project Browser view and selecting New Element, when you choose Requirements from the Types combo box it does not show the combination of Prefix + Counter + Suffix.

- Stereotypes and Requirement Types
. We have created a new stereotype called Features and new Requirement Types (Functional; Non Functional).
. Drag and drop a Requirement to the diagram. In the properties dialog box, select either Functional or Non Functional in the Type Field
. When you look at the Properties Workspace at the right in the Type field you will see requirements. In the stereotype field then you will see what we have selected previously on the Type Field (Functional or Non Functional). However if you expand the drop down list of stereotypes you will see the defined stereotypes, which are completely different from the Requirement Types.
. If you create the new Requirement from the Project Browser by doing right click and you select Requirement as Type and the new created stereotype Features as stereotype, then when you go to the Properties Dialog Box, then in the Type field you will see Features (the stereotype). If you expand the drop down list, then you will get the Requirement Types that where defined (Functional, Non Functional) which are different from the stereotypes list.

Any thoughts?
