Hello,
I hope you could help me to solve two crucial questions for me, I have two specific questions related of the EA which are the following:
1.Is it possible to import diagrams of flow and sequence from Rational Rose to Enterprise Architect?.
2.And my other question is related with the Corporate Edition Floating License. Is it possible to work with remotes servers such as internet or web, using this type of license?
I hope to be clear in my questions, anyway if there is something that would need more explanation do not hesitate to contact me to clarify that.
I really will appreciate your specialized and express help to solve this two questions.
Have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Diana Barron.

You probably have to be a bit more precise in what you want to do with 1.
(Sorry, I can't answer 2. but likely someone else)

I continue this thread as I already flamed the post on the general board...
Well, Diana. Maybe it would help if you clarify your first question by using more than one sentence and maybe an example. Do you want to move diagrams from RR to EA. Or what?
-
Yes, Sorry for the confusion. In my first question, I was wondering if I could import diagrams of flow and sequence from Rational Rose to Enterprise Architect.

Well, if you export via Rose XMI you can import that stuff in EA. I think that also the diagrams will be shoveled.

If you can export your Rose model to an EMX file, EA should be able to read this format. This feature was added in build 800. There have been several enhancements to the EA import function for Rose XMI formats too. Some of these have targeted the old Unisys version, while some appear to be aimed more at the current Rose XMI format.
