Title: Why is lifeline broken when adding New message?

If you have an object that sends multiple messages to other objects after each other, the lifeline between the messages is solid. But when I send a New massages (a message with lifecycle set to New the lifeline is broken.
Is this correct?

IMO - No its not correct.

Not only, but also...

The new message points to the constructed object icon - unless there are further interactions with the object, the constructed object does not have a lifeline
