Title: File links on connectors
Post by: sargasso on August 23, 2004, 08:25:43 pm
 :'( :'( :'(

Any one got a good idea?  I need to build a document map for 170 subsystem interfaces (approx 300 dataflows) - The subsystems are all modelled as components and the dataflows as assemblies, documents specifying the implementation of the dataflows have been modelled as "artifacts" called Interface Contracts which specify dataflow, transfer layer, scheduling and connectivity.  We need to build a document map that alows a reader (viewer) to find the interface contract from either the system, the dataflow or the interface (interface in this context being a lollipop on a component.

I cant link the artifact elements to the assemblies!!!!

Of course they need it yesterday -  any ideas?

Unless Sparx can issue an update today that provides a file link tab for conections    :'( :'(

Just a quick workaround, the first thing that comes to my mind - create an Association Class for each of the connectors and use the file link there.

Would that help?
