I have created a stereotype with a WMF image file. But when I drop the stereotype on to a diagram it does not draw the WMF image.
Do diagrams support WMF? If not then why have WMF at all for stereotypes?
-
What do you mean by "drop stereotype on diagram"?
-
I mean create an instance of the object on a diagram. For some reason my WMF image is not showing. If I use the shape language to draw an image then it shows. As soon as I switch to using a WMF image it dissapears.

I used EMF instead in the past. So if there's a reproducable problem with WFM I suggest to file a bug report.
-
Hi Myles,
I haven't been able to replicate the problem here - wmf works fine for me here :-/
Please do send a bug report, and if you're willing, the particular wmf file that you're trying to display.
Thanks,
Ash

Thanks for clarifying. I'll try EMF firsg & also log the problematic WMF as a bug.

I have an update on this. The WMF image works fine if I set the stereotype base class to "class". But when I set the base class to "Action" it doesn't display.
Any ideas why this is so? Is it a bug or intended behaviour?

I know that Sparx has added additional element types to those affected by certain Shape Script features (adornments come to mind).
Perhaps the same sort of thing holds true for pictures; they might only be available for specific element types.
Perhaps this is worth your asking for more in the Suggestions forum.

Myles,
I've traced your problem back to issue with our Action code. Please find that the problem has been corrected in our next build, 788 (approx. next week).

Thanks. I'll look forward to testing it out.

Hi all,
now I have build 789 but still I can't assign an alternate image to an action. Same for Stereotypes with Alternate Images.
The upper works fine with activities and lots of other elements.
any ideas?
