Title: Deploying artifact to instance of node

I am a bit new to UML, and I am trying to create deployment diagrams. I have managed to use the <<deploy>> relationship to deploy artifacts to nodes, but I don't seem to be able to deploy either  an artifact nor an instance of an artifact to an instance of a node. I have read both UML reference and EA docs and believe this should be possible. What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by "unable"? Just drawing the relation and assigning the stereotype should do the job...
