Title: Testing

Does anyone have any experience of using EA to support testing?

I realise that EA can generate test scripts, but it is not something we have tried at my organisation.

I am keen to find out what approach people have taken to testing e.g. unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance testing.

For instance, is it better to use test cases or to create test conditions directly against elements of the system design e.g. any components or classes?

You should try searching the forum for threads. There are some that could help you further.

You should keep in mind that EA is not a fully-fledged tool for testing, though it might help you in a certain range thus you don't have the need buying another costly tool.
