Hi all,
In sequence diagrams there I use inserted scenarios (as related notes) (ICONIX-like) and when I change use case scenario, it changes here.
I tried the same with constraints (pre-conditions, post-conditions) and it is not working. Bug or feature?
-
Don't know, but I'd be interested to know Sparx' take on this.
Are you using 6.1 or 6.5? (And in the latter case which build?)
-
Both 6.1.792 and 6.5.796.
When I change ther constriant via UseCase Properties the text disappears. I'll report it as a bug, we'll see.

Thanks again Bary,
This will likely affect me within a week or two. Please let me know if you hear anything beyond what gets posted in the forum.

I apologize for detracting from your original topic/post...
Curiously, I've been wanting to know how "inserted scenarios (as related notes)" can be done.
A quick scan of the help doesn't describe how to reveal the text from the scenario in a use case on the sequence diagram....likely something obvious I am missing?
Thanks.

1. Drag a UseCase into a Sequence diagram.
2. Quicklink an empty note.
3. Pick the note-UseCase connector.
4. Rightclick it.
5. Choose "Link this Note to an Element feature..."
And here you are. The rest is up to you.

And thanks to Sparxians that bug will be over in next 6.5 beta (797).

Music to my ears!

First you need to put your Use case into a Diagram. Next, CLICK on this use case (within the diagram) and from the context menu of you choose 'Attach > Attach Note'. Click on the Note Link (the dotted line connecting the use case to the note) and from the context menu you can choose "Link this note to an element feature". Enjoy !
