Hi all - I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to EA and I have a question for you regarding the Link Name of a control flow in Activity Diagrams.
If I have a decision diamond, with a question, I draw the control flows to the next activities and label the lines. By default it puts the link names at the destination end of the line, next to the arrowhead, which can be confusing especially if the control flows are long.
I prefer to have them near the diamond, for easy reference. So I have the fiddly job of moving them back - but is there an easier way of doing this? I know it's a small point but every little helps.
Cheers,
Pete

Are you sure that you want link names and not guard conditions?
From you explanation it sounds like you wish to add the "YES" and "NO" or other criteria relevant to you decision to the transition (control flow). These should be added to the tab "Constraints" on the details of you transition. These guard conditions will show up in the middle of the transition and will automaticly be included in square brackets like "[guard condition]"

Err no...I blame my trainer. ;D
What you've said makes sense.
Many thanks,
Pete
