Title: Diagram specific element coloring

I have a component diagram in which I want to emphasize some of the components with a specific color (yellow). Using Select Element -> Right Click -> Appearance -> Default Appearance changes the color in all the diagrams that contain these components. How can I configure the appearance of an element in a single diagram?

I am using EA: 7.1.829.

Select View | Toolbars | Format Tool from the main menu.

This allows you to modify the appearance of an element (or connector) on the current diagram only and overrides the default appearance for that element.

In the EA Help, look for the Set an Element's Default Appearance topic, which guides you to the procedures for changing the appearance of a single element, a selection of elements, all instances of an element, and all elements.

You might want the Format Toolbar, as Simon suggests, or you might want to colour a selection of elements (select them all, then right click on one of them and select the Appearance | Default Appearance menu option).
