Title: Date of first release of Enterprise Architect

Hi,
I am trying to find the information about the first release of EA. According to http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/ea/2.0/history.html it was 1.1.3 version. What year was it? There is the date 1996-2008 near the EA logo in some sections. Is 1996 the date of first EA release?

Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect was made available commercially in 2000.
