Title: Baseline & merging tool !!

Hi,

I am getting some problems when I attempt to partially restore information from Baselines.

I created a brand new EA project (One diagram with two component realizing an interface), and I “Baselined” the project to 1.0. Fine, baseline was created and no probs so far.

Now, I removed a component from the diagram and I checked the differences out. Good, the "Show differences" button (or refresh button on the tool) tells me there is a missing element and its connection in the diagram. So, I decided to revert the changes back in to the baseline but selectively.

Problems started then!!. I can't get through it. For some reason, I can't restore the information selectively. I right clicked where the Difference tool says that there is a missing peace of information, and I clicked on "add from Baseline" option and it doesn't apply the changes back in. However, if I merge everything (“Merge from Baseline” option), the entire project, from the Baseline, it worked. Is there any reason to explain this behavior when you try to apply changes selectively?. I there any other way to apply changes selectively?

I would first recommend making sure that you are using the latest build of EA.  If it's still not working contact sparx systems support directly.

Hi Simon,

I installed the new version (7.1 b831) and I still got the problem!. I'll submit the project to see whether or not is issue.
