Title: How to color portions of a life line

I am working with a colleague who has experience with Borland's Together. When building a Sequence Diagram with Together, it is possible to add color to portions of the life line. So message 1.1 through 1.6 can all be colored one color on a life line and 1.0 and 1.7 on can be colored differently. In other words, portions of a life line can be colored differently from the rest of the life line.

We are trying to do the same thing with EA with no luck. The mechanism is used to show new or changed functionality in a diagram from one version to the next.

Anyone got any ideas on how to do this?

AFAIK that is not possible with EA.
I'm afraid you'll have to find another way to indicate new/changed parts.
