Title: Images inside node descriptions
Post by: HagenK on June 09, 2010, 07:42:07 pm
Hello,

I want to use use images inside the description of diagram nodes like use cases. If I paste an image from the clipboard into a use case description the image will be shown correctly, but after closing and opening the description dialog there is only a html image tag like this:
<img src="HTS_1.PNG" width="108" height="28" border="0" alt="graphic"/>
instead of the image ...

any suggestions how to get images inside node descriptions ?
Thanks in advance.,
Hagen

Funny this works at all. Usually Sparx will point you to the Linked Document to do such kind of "enhanced" documentation.

Images in notes fields are not supported, the fact that the control appears to allow it when pasting data in is an issue that needs to be corrected.

As beginner has said we recommend linked documents if you want to use images.

Simon,
if it appears to work in parts (by accident), why not make it work by intention instead of removing the functionality completely?

Sorry to revive a thread but I was wondering this too?

I have been scouring for information about this in order to add a screenshot for test results, so that you could add an image/screenshot to an individual test (say if the test fails and you would like to show what result you get) and have the report generator save it as part of that test case.

It would help immensly to have that ability! :D

Hope that makes sense  :)
