Hi
I have a larger project which uses SVN version control for versioning packages. I wan't to import DB schema from ODBC, but the dialog box doesn't show up when this option is clicked on the dropdown menu and in Project/Database Engineering menu.
weird as it sounds but:
- I did Project data integrity check and is says - no problems (previosuly it found some and I let it fix them)
- I've opened a new package in the root package, and added another package in it. the whole nodepath is not in the version control. Still nothing happens when option for schema is selected.
- I've made a copy of the project, and I've DELETED most of the OTHER packages - after that delirous action the Import from ODBC dialog box shows up after selecting mentioned options.
I need it to work on the original project without deleting everyting else :).
I'm I doing something wrong?

Damir,
Can you describe in detail which steps you are taking to import the DB schema?

well' that's the problem Geert. I can't do even step 1.
Here is the node path: Root node.View node.A package
1. In Project Browser I right-click on the A package
2. Select Code Engineering->Import DB schema from ODBC
and nothing happens - the dialog box for import doesn't show up and no error is being displayed.
If I delete most of other packages (only Root node is the same for them and for A package), somehow the dialog box opens in steps shown before.

I have been able to recreate the issue on my model.
Selecting the option to import schema from odbc does nothing at all.
I'm on 8.0.862 on SQL Server 2008 with part of the model controlled in TFS.
Better report it as a bug to Sparx.
