Title: About hiding connector on diagram
Post by: James Chan on October 25, 2011, 06:28:45 pm
Hi all,
When I drag and drop some elements from project browser, connectors between them such as associations will appear on diagram automatically.   Is there any option make that connectors not be shown initially at the D&D operation?

Thank you!

I haven't heard of such an option. What is your use case?

Our use case is when we just want  to show one of views of the design,  some link between elements is not cared by stakeholders and we hope the diagram is clear and just shows what it should be.

No, not as such, but there is an option to hide a connector on all other diagrams, that might already help?

Check the Diagram/Advanced/Visible Relations window. That should help you.

Thank you, Geert!
It does work, though a little inconvenience.

It's new with 9.1 (or may be 9.0). You should upgrade since they corrected quite a bunch of bugs and also some usability improvements (like this one) were made.
