Title: Silent upgrade to EA 10
Post by: rmalo on February 02, 2013, 03:28:52 am
Hello,
we have in our company different version of Enterprise Architect (7-9.3) and i want to upgrade silently (unattendedly) everything to version 10. Is there some command line to silent upgrade from any lower version to version 10? I tried "easetupfull v10.exe" /q allusers=2 but it is only for new computers because if there installed lower version, show information about lower version and question, i i want to upgrade or not. If there some switch or option in command line?

Thank you very much.

From memory, I think when trying to upgrade an existing installation silently you might need to uninstall the existing version first.  Unfortunately I can't remember the exact command off the top of my head, but it should be a standard MSI switch.

Thank you for your interest to help me.

I am still unsuccessfull. There must be some PROPERTY like ALLUSERS=2.
