Title: Managing a change log
Post by: Ron Beernink on May 28, 2013, 08:29:34 am
Is there a common approach to managing a change log for a model in Sparx; e.g. one that users can update manually to keep track of changes they've made, and that can be updated as part of a script that makes changes to a model?

We see that there is a "Change" element in the Toolbox, so that's perhaps something to use for this purpose?

Have you checked the Auditing feature for logging changes - see:

In terms of using Change Elements - you might like to look at the test management whitepaper - this covers a similar senario of using test elements linking to changes.
