Title: MGD Technology - Is it possible to add templates?

According to the Sparx Systems specification: EAUserGuide (downloaded from Sparx Systems web site http://www.sparxsystems.com/bin/EAUserGuide.pdf) it should be possible to add RFT Templates and Linked Docs Templates to my MGD Technology. The instructions in the EA User Guide are different however from the recent EA help files - the set of options is different. I am new to EA trying to create my first technology file and I am confused what can be added to my technology and what not. Does anyone know whether custom templates can be added to the MGD Technology and how to do it? Many thanks in advance!

The short answer is yes, it is possible to add templates.

As far as I can see, for creating an MDG Technology, the downloadable .pdf version of the Help matches the UML Tool Guide on the web site and the product Help supplied with the installer for build 848 of EA. What release of EA are you using?

Use this procedure:

At step 7, select the check boxes for RTF Templates and Linked Document Templates, then see the following two procedures:

Thank you for your answer.
I use EA version 7.5.843 Corporate Edition. To build my technology I indeed use Tools -> Generate MGD Technology File and steps 1 to 3 are in line with the instruction you sent. The step 4 is different however due to the different MDG Technology Wizard - Create screen I get. I have less options e.g. I cannot add a path to logo file. The other screens I get are different too (no contents window for instance). Do you have any idea why my EA MDG Technology Wizard screens are different from the ones in the tutorial? Is it becasue of my corporate license?
On the other hand, the MDG Technology Wizard screens on my EA help file (topic: MDG Technology Create) are consistent with what I get.

OK, I found what's wrong. I have just installed a new version 7.5.848 and everything is like to described in your post. I used an older EA release.
