Title: Align to an edge-mounted intermediate event

How to align an element to an edge -mounted intermediate event ?
There is a mounted intermediate event MINTE1 annd a further event EV1, which are connected with a sequence flow. After selecting both MINTE1 and EV1 are the align menuitems grayed out...

You can't. I once wrote me a script to align opposite ports. Wasn't too difficult and quite handy.
