Title: Support for Web Services
Post by: mick on July 17, 2003, 07:05:33 am
When modelling a system involving a web service it would be useful to be able to consume the web service's WSDL to create a class representing the service in a class or sequence diagram.

I would like to see this too, however I would like to get XSD import in first as that is a prerequist for wsdl import as wdsl is basicaly a superset of xsd.

It would be nice if ea could handle some of the newer web services languages such as BPEL4WS, which are all xml based. It would make EA a killer web services design tool.

I agree, consuming a WSDL/Web Service and generating classes would be fantastic feature.

We are using Web Service a lot at the moment and this would make life a bit easier.

Agreed, parsing WSDL to generate a class would be a killer feature. It'd be cooler still to simply designate a URL and have EA fetch the file....

Definitely... WebService support would be an excellent Unique Selling Point for EA!  ;D
