Hello,
first of all, EA seems to be the only professional modelling tool that supports code generation and reverse engineering for PHP! 8) We are evaluating the product for use in our large PHP projects. ;)
However, in contrast to all other languages there is no options menu for PHP, e.g. allowing for different file extensions e.g. .php;.class. This is a show stopper for us! :o
Therefore I would like to suggest to complete PHP support to the same extend as other programming languages.
By the way, a publication on PHP+UML+code generation+reverse enigneering in relevant PHP magazines would certainly boost your sales.

Yes I wanted to post the same thread you did. I also will be happy to see more complete support of PHP. This will help me to consider EA more seriously for my PHP projects (60% of my projects).
In fact I initialy came toward EA because of it's PHP support. (then Delphi and C#).
After a while I saw I have dropped Rational Rose and I am working with EA most of the time (I feel more more comfortable with EA and I can concentrate on job itself instead of dealing with UI's problems).
I also think lot of people will be interested in EA's PHP support.
A while back there was a discussion on Case Tools supporting PHP on PHPPatterns website and they only knew a single (lot lot more expensive tool) for generating PHP codes. Then I posted a small note on EA. But a better article with details will be able to attract more developers , especially with great price of EA.

I just posted a topic "PHP Pre-reqs" with some stuff that is necessary before I can trust EA with my PHP code, namly in typing and references, where UML can bring more value-added.

Hello to all PHP@EA fans,
We're very pleased with the positive feedback on adding PHP to the list of supported code languages in EA, and its increasing uptake in use in PHP Projects.
We will be adding a number of much-requested improvements to our PHP support over the next few builds, including the PHP Code gen options page (As seen in tools->options for every other supported language).
Once again we appreciate your feedback, stay tuned for these improvements over the coming month, and keep them PHP improvements coming along!
