Title: Relate Glossary to model (not always global)
Post by: michael_rainwater on March 28, 2005, 08:16:34 am
The glossary feature in EA is very nice.  But the items I add to the glossary seem to be global on my machine for all models I open.  They do not seem to be related only to my model.  I would like the terms to be in the model, so it goes to everyone.  I also don't want the terms to carry across to every model.

Since you have the "global" capability, I don't mind if it is there.  It may have many uses.  But I would at least like the option of specifying a term as "local" to the current model.  Then, when I generate docs for this model the term is included.  When I generate terms for a different model, the term is not included.

Thanks

Hi Michael,

the glossary is indeed model specific, if by a model you mean an EAP file or a DBMS repository. Or do you mean something else?

Thanks,
Bruno

My misunderstaning.  Thanks for the reply.

I just tested this, and it sure does relate directly to the model.  And yes, I did mean the EAP file.

Thanks again.  I just misunderstood how it works.
