bruce,
Do you mean the Profile Folder in the Toolbox (Perspectives)
or
the UML Profiles and Matrix Profiles Packages (Resource View)?

howdy bruce,
on a related note, we've added a related feature in 6.5 - all* the toolbox items are now available from the ctrl + right click menu.
*(even profile ones)

One thing that needs to be added tho, is to detect at startup if these floating windows are within a visible display area and adjust their positions if not.
I carry my laptop about, and when there is an extra monitor available I plug it in and expand the tear-offs etc. to the extra desktop space. When I end up somewhere without an extra monitor, these windows are out of site and it is a hassle to get them back into the active desktop space.
If there is an easy check or auto-adjustment feature that can be implemented, that would be sweet.

Quite some people have that problem. You might raise this as bug(/defect) report to Sparx support.

Actually the exact thing happened to me.
How did you get the tear offs back into the active window?
I still cant seem to do that.
I am on 6.1
Thanks!

Does this (http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=general;action=display;num=1162943571) thread help?

yup. it did.
I didnt realize that a checked choice meant that it was actually not the selected state :-) Even after a year I still feel pretty new to the app regardless of how much of the docs I read.
I do appreciate the support offered here. It really helps.
