Title: Export to Doors
Post by: Martin Terreni on January 10, 2007, 12:33:51 am
I know Doors is soposed to be the tool for requirement managment, but if I want to get the requiremets to very lo level I would have to create them in EA (where I do my use cases and analysis) and then export them.

If there was a way for it it aould be very helpfull.

Have you looked at the DOORS add-in?

I've not done so - no direct need at this time - so I don't know if this is merely a reader (i.e. DOORS to EA, one way).

I have tried the DOORS Addin and it works well... for importing requirements into EA from DOORS. As stated above, I also would like to be able to create my requirements in EA and export them to DOORS.

Is there any plan to add this functionality in the DOORS addin or create an add-in for Reqtify de TNI ? I believe that Reqtify could provide that functionality.

This is a probably a showstopper for my company that is heavily linked to DOORS.

I have the same problem.
We are tightly linked to Doors too (which I think is also a grate tool) and being able to create requirement in EA and exporting them could be grate.
