Title: Save Layout (in XML file)

Howdy,
just installed the new beta - and again fell over that ugly obstacle: my layout has vanished and was reset to default. Not really a big headache but why can't the layout be saved (e.g. in a XML file) so one can reuse it at a later stage?

Good suggestion Thomas,

This would also make layouts portable. You could take your home layout to work. Or you could copy a good working layout for use by coworkers. This feature would complement some of the new toys in 7.1.
