Title: relationship matrix colors
Post by: marcelloh on August 16, 2008, 12:51:39 am
I've got a matrix with Use Cases and Requirements.
Link type = relationship

Some of the relations are green, others are red.
What's the difference?
(I can't see it, but I have glasses....)  8-)

Red indicates that the source element is locked.

That would be nice to read in the user guide :-)

Thanks  :P

It is in the EA documentation and help. Look in the help file under Relationship Matrix | Introduction. There is a picture and an explanation.

[edit]And by the way...

I noticed your original post, read it, and took the time to look this up in the help file. Take a peek at the time between your first post and my answer.

IMHO this was not difficult to find in the EA help, nor would it have produced an unacceptable - i.e. greater than the time to post the suggestion, or the time to post the complain afterwards - delay in your work. But of course that's just my take on this.[/edit]

Hi David,

Are we now able to create and display a standard "CRUD" matrix with the Relationship Matrix?

This has been requested for so many times, I stopped checking for the feature in every release.

kind regards

Segun

Hi Segun,

I really don't know. I have not even thought to try that. At this point I don't have a good candidate project to try with, nor do I have the time to build one just for a test.

It is an interesting question though.
