Aids like 'Find in Project Browser' are useful to locating objects but still require positive action and, I think, have no keyboard shortcut.
Quite often things are in full view and still 'invisible' and it's a pain to repeatedly have to use a drop down menu
I'd like to see the following as default behaviour in addition:-
1) selecting an object on a diagram causes the object in the project browser list (if visible) to briefly flash
2) selecting an object in the project browser list causes the object on the visible diagram (if visible) to briefly flash

Hmm, I don't know about this flashing.
I'm afraid a feature like this could have a significant impact on the overall performance.
There is however a keyboard shortcut for both "Find in project browser" (Alt+G) and "Find in Diagrams" (Ctrl+U)

I think it would be more appropriate to describe it as a single flash or twinkle - not a repeated event i.e transient event.
I know about the find in ... etc but when you've a lot of objects in a diagram / or long list in the browser it's annoying to have to use a drop-down menu to often find that the object is within the field of view [different matter when not visible]

There are times when I go through the same contortions. The model doesn't have to be very complex before things start to move around when I'm not looking. [That must be what's happening. How else could they get lost so easily?]
Perhaps something audible... ;)
